Chauvent University

Environment concept for the digital painting school competition.
I push myself further in mat painting, photobashing, and 3D.

The brief :
The famous creators of Chaudvent, Kontrolalt Zed and Mixeurbe Rush, did not skimp on the means to build their university in the air. Thanks to the master elementalists, the huge Chaudvent building floats in the air, surrounded by several secondary islands where the dormitories, the gymnasium, the explosion field and other ancillary buildings are located.
All these floating islands are connected by portals allowing to travel between them almost instantly.
The tallest towers have a rather organic appearance that subtly recalls the wild elements. All the opposite of Grondark which is straight, straight, concentric and perfectly calculated.
On one side a rocky ridge rises, training ground for many magic exercises.
It is not uncommon to see mages moving around the University on the backs of hippogriff or flying leech, which gives it the appearance of a boiling hive.
